I see my work as physical manifestations of internal processes and intentions, like meditation. My fascination with the natural world and love of gardening has influenced my art, even before I began my glass blowing journey.  The mysteries of the universe and the search for deeper meaning and connection drive my creative imagination.

I started glassblowing when I was in art school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. After college I moved to Seattle, WA to work as a quartz fabrication specialist. I had a big break from glassblowing and pursued other career paths until 2020 when the opportunity to make glass art again arrived. In 2023 I moved back to eastern
